Graduation project 

The Ladies's Paradise (Au Bonheur des Dames), by Emile Zola, published in 1883, is a French novel wich recount the rise of the modern department store in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century, such as Le bon marché, Le Printemps or Les Galeries Lafayette.

" Denise, a young country girl enters The Ladies' Paradise to become a saleswoman. There she will meet Mouret, the store manager, who will fal madly in love with her."

As my graduation project, I choose to work on the universe of this novel. I propose a visual development of character desing and store design in an artistic direction close to Arcane animated television series, Dishonored and Bioshock.

My story begins 20 years later and we follow Denise, now a widow ans manager of The -great- Ladies' Paradise.

After designing the characters, I had to think about the design of the store. It had to be luxurious, magnificent, imposing.

For this I went looking for forms in the architecture and design of objects from the art deco movement.

I choose a shape, and I started environment compositions, colors keys and scuplpting on blender.

I wanted to imagine the interior of the mall, including the large central gallery and the clothing department.

The central gallery is royal, disproportionate. She overwhelms the visitor with  so many wealth.

The clothing department is a nostalgic place: in the novel The Ladies'Paradise, it is the place where Denise begins as a saleswoman.

School work : interdimentional portal

I have other projects wich are part of my graduation portfolio. This is another project called "The Glitch". It is a school project : we had to create an environment design with an interdimentional portal. I didn't want it to be blue or too much sci-fi so I made it in warm colors. Hope you like it !

After designing the portal, I made a character design for peoples who live on the other side of my portal.

20 000 Leagues under the sea

This is 20 000 Leagues under the sea, my last year character design project. I worked again on it to be more professional.

Le vénitien

Character design made in october 2022 for the character design challenge. Theme of the month : fighting clown. I had a special mention for this illustration.

Personal projects - portrait

I am inspired by the way Alberto Mielgo creates emotional and strong portraits. After watching "Jibaro" on Netflix (Love, Death and Robot), I wanted to try a portrait in his amazing style.
