Wang Hu

The concepts of this character are:

This character was influenced by Chinese fantasy action films, which are based on their mythology. As a result, the character's clothes will be traditional. However, to give the outfit a little more contemporary look, they altered a few details like the boots and the use of belts that were not historically relevant. This character is based on people with special powers, also called immortals, who typically reside in isolated parts of the forest where they meditate on becoming immortal. On the character's right hand is a talisman that is used to fight or exorcise ghosts.

The design was inspired by the white tiger, also known as Baihu in Chinese and one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese Zodiac. The main colour palette for this character is black and white which is based on the white tiger with black stripes, with a few additions to give the design an interesting look.

Jin Eun-Woo

The concept of this character are:

The character was inspired by a horned mythical creature prevalent in East Asian mythology called Haetae in Korea, being an animal associated with judging people's guilt and innocence, also known as a protector from natural disasters, the character's concept was designed to be both a shaman and a worshipped god who involved in religious rituals to bring safety and give worshipers. The reason I want to be a child designer is because I want to experiment with character design for a wide range of ages.

Because the character has roots in ancient legends, the character's costume design will be in traditional clothes. Haetae believed painting served as the inspiration for the colour palette. Finding a balance between the 4 distinct colours used made it a little challenging, however, this was overcome by using less vibrant hues that work well with each other.

Takahashi Masao

The concepts of this character are:

Bōsōzoku is a Japanese subculture that is banned in Japan. It is associated with custom motorcycles and the Yakuza, Japan's organised crime group. This character is designed to be the boss of a motorbike gang and a Yakuza. Despite her gangster associates, she is calm and appears very trustworthy.

Her outfit was inspired by real-life motorcycle gangs and Japanese school uniforms. School uniforms had an additional impact on the colouring palette. Blue was chosen for her hair highlights to contrast with her clothing and match her eye colour. The animal concept is the fox deity or Inari-Okami, which is believed to represent intelligence and cunning, which are aligned with the character of a Yakuza leader who is intelligent and strategic.

In illustration I separate into 2 different styles, Gacha and Splash art.
