Ethereal - Chara
Working on this project was great, I've enhanced my cloth workflow because I needed perfect control on my topology and UVs.
I have used Marvelous designer to create the cloths and then I worked with the 2D garements in Maya and with the help of the transfert attribut I was able to achieve clean UVs and topo.
It is very useful for texturing, to get the cloth mesh's flow right and to be able to paint/stamp in a clean way on the UV view so the fabric's fold aren't a problem.
I worked on the head aiming for a burned/gangrenous flesh look

One thing I learned from this project is about fur, I was trying to keep it very smal to have a realistic fuzzy look but in the end, even when zooming in 8k renders it's hardly noticeable.
If I had more time I would have loved adding some FX such as smoke and particle effects to add to the magic/surnatural side of the character
Eventually I've learned a lot with this project, enhance my workflow and surfacing skills.
