Asthmatos from HOT TENSION

This is Asthmatos from the french word "Asthmatique" which means asthmatic. He is the hero of a comedy cartoon series project named "Hot Tension" created by Anne Le, Talhia Brom, Maelys Sabuco and me, Hindha Koné

The serie is about the adventure of Asthmatos and his friend Appocourt aka "the lowcost Appolon". After a power outage at the Olympe, the gods are looking for someone to fix it, so the lightining of Zeus could work again. The duo receive their first mission in order to become heroes, without knowing the danger they will have to face...

Asthmatos is the son of Athena and that make him a demigod. Since is childhood, he dreamed to become a hero. But unfortunately for him, he's not strong enough. The only trait he has inherit from is mother is his tactical sense and his intelligence.  Due to his asthm, he is often seen as weak.

I was in charge of designing it!

The idea of Asthmatos was to make a frail and skinny, almost helpless but cute looking. I tried to keep some attributes and motifs of the ancient Greece. We can find that on his knee and glasses. 
I started doing sketches inspire by references of my moodboard and the ideas we had for the stories. 
And it began to be more precise when we had adapt our style to each others (in the group).

This project is my favorite, i'm happy to share it! I hope we will be able to share the entire project later. Most of it was created by collaboration on Drawpile.
