FAUSSE VENUS

Fausse Venus is a Visual Development project in a cyberpunk world setting done in my previous semester. The story follows Vera, an undercover agent acting as a fashion model in the high society, trying to uncover the Quiron fashion brand dirty secrets. Edouard is the CEO of Quiron.

Vestiaire

The first key art made for the Fausse Venus project. In the dressing room backstage, a group of robotic make-up artist is giving the main model Sasha final touches, one of the robotic arm in particular is drawing glyphs on her back. The room is also filled with other models having their make-up done.

Éveil

After Vera evacuated the audience, the runway is now filled with dead bodies. Vera distracts the newly awakened demon as her partner tries to figure out how to take it down. As it wasn't summoned properly, it lacks intellect and goes on a rampage.

La Vénus

A conceptual poster made for the Fausse Venus short film. The main concept was to show the double identity each of the characters have. Additionally because of the fashion setting the poster is made to look like a fashion magazine.

ENVIRONMENT PAINTINGS

变革的浪潮

After the great flood due to an appearance of a new moon, the survivors started rebuilding houses with their limited resources. The people maintain the temple remains believing it would protect them from heavy rainfall as where the temple is built, the weather was less extreme.

生锈的梦

After decades passed, the people grew accustomed to the great flood. They now started to build a city powered by steam engine, making use of the immense amount of water. The people build buildings surrounding the temple making that area the center of the city.

The Library of Thoth

Egyptian god of wisdom Thoth, has a secret library in his temple that holds all the knowledge of the world. He created a magical device symbolizes that symbolizes his power and help him organize the scrolls inside the library.

Ad-Dakka

Egyptian god of wisdom Thoth, has a secret library in his temple that holds all the knowledge of the world. His temple is located near a river and his followers live in buildings around his temple.

MARIE OF MILLE-FEUILLEVILLE

Marie of Mille-Feuillevile is a stylized visual development project. It follows the story of a Queen who loves eating desserts. She governs Mille-Feuilleville with the help of her advisor monkey, Carmelo Framboise. Living in a floating castle on top of Fazier Choux, she often travels to try out delicious new desserts. Her design is inspired by 19th Century French fashion and desserts.

Clan of Gegeen

Clan of Gegeen is a Visual Development project inspired by the Mongolian culture and mythology. The story follows Soyolmaa, a young talented girl from clan of magical tailors. They are on their mission to create clothing with protective abilities that can also tame the hostile beasts attacking their village.
