SHARE LOUNGE

To design a co-working space for Share Lounge at Lot M, 29-5, Jalan Riong, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. The built-up area of this unit is approximately 3000 sqft. I would like to develop an interior style that is grounded in a modern and minimalist design that suits the atmosphere of Share Lounge. This is to target local and foreign individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative and creative atmosphere.

COSMOPOLITAN

COSMOPOLITAN / UNFUSSY / INTUITIONAL

I was inspired by the logo of Share Lounge, the geometrical patterns and bold lines had given me the idea of what space I would like to create.

Further research by sociologists and anthropologists has suggested that cosmopolitanism can be seen as an 'ideal' rather than a 'model' and that these ideals must be embraced in order to create the right conditions for successful collaboration. Drawing on these findings, I believe that it is possible to apply cosmopolitanism as a design concept to create an environment where people from different parts of the world can come together and work productively. The normal cube shape represents the normal co-working space, and the different shapes inside represent different kinds of people.

The design concept for a cosmopolitan interior space should be a perfect blend of contemporary and classic elements. The color palette should be neutral with pops of bold colors to add vibrancy. The furniture should be sleek and modern with clean lines and geometric shapes. The lighting should be strategically placed to create a warm and inviting ambiance. Use of natural materials such as wood, stone, and metal should be incorporated to add texture and depth. Artwork and accessories should be carefully curated to reflect the cosmopolitan vibe. The overall design should be functional, stylish, and timeless.
