SJR Digital Motion Graphics
As a newly graduated motion designer, I have worked on several spec ad projects in recent months that have taught me a lot. It's been less than a year since I began learning any 3D or motion design and I'm loving every minute of it!
LARQ Self-Cleaning Water Bottle
LARQ is a brand I discovered on the internet one day and thought they would be a great brand to make some spec work for. So using some reference images I modeled a replica of the water bottle and textured several versions to match their line up of available colors.
Using the models I made, I animated some short product highlights and a full ad to showcase the product. Be sure to turn the sound on for the last video!
Diablo IV
As part of a student advertising award competition, I was asked to model and animate a hypothetical hot sauce for the video game Diablo IV. Below you will see the animations I made with some wireframe views of the model.
Below are a few test frames for animations I was trying. The final shot with two torches ablaze made the cut.
Here is the final video that features my animations showcasing the product.
Liquid Death
Liquid Death is a very popular brand right now and I'm a huge fan of Rock'n'Roll music. So for one of my earliest fully animated 3D spec campaigns, I figured putting the two together just made perfect sense.
After adjusting a model I found of an aluminum can I used some Photoshop to mock up a texture to wrap around each model and then I was set! I simply needed to animate each can to a song of my choosing that fit the vibe of each flavor.
Here are the three shorts I made. I could easily update the whole campaign to feature every new flavor of Liquid Death. Make sure your sound is on so you can rock out with these sick cans of water.
Mograph Tests
The following are some of my mograph experiments to help me learn and grow as quickly as I can!
3D Modeling Ripe for Motion
Here are a few more products I modeled, textured, and rendered only as product shots. However, they could quickly be adapted to future motion projects.
