PROJECT BRIEF

To design a workspace, an office, for Adobe, at Level 20, Block B4, Leisure Commerce Square, No.9, Jalan PJS 8/9, Leisure Commerce Square, 46150 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The built-up floor area of this unit is 5000sqft. The design is using Modern&Creative biophilic style concept come with a light tone color with green. An idea of work space balance. The interior will be refreshed, creative and feeling artistic&scientistic.

SITE DESCRIPTION

The office front door facing west, which the direction where wind come from. The location is beside highway, a high traffic area with much of noices. It surrounding with few of Residence, Restaurant and Commercial/Retail. Nearby with BRT station, which is convenient to use public transport.

ZONING

First entry is area like Reception and Lounge which a public area that can be access by everybody. Then, is the semi-public area like all the facilities which visitor and workers can access. Slowly, it reach the semi-private and private area where most of the time only access by workers.

ADOBE

Adobe is an American multinational computer software company. It founded by John Warnock & Charles Geschke by 1982. It's global leader in producing digital marketing & creative software. It's one of the highest quality companies in the world. An idea to develop programming language that would translate computer image and text to print.

WAVE TO THE FUTURE BY LAYER

The concept comes from the “layers” which a function that can be see in every adobe software and the logo of Adobe which a word “A”. The word “A” make a form of curve&wavy. By combining these 2 elements, it makes a layering wavy form which make a unlimited contionuous idea with no ending unliminted creative thinking which having a similar vision of Adobe, to make creative more and more. The concept made as a wavy form and it come with layering which layered and layered show step by steps to get better and better in future. The interior using light tone and green color which showing refreshed and artistic&scientistic balance workspace.

RENDERED FURNITURE LAYOUT PLAN

Mainly the flooring using gray tiles and around the main entrance using lighter gray tiles for visitor's walkway direction guide. Visitor usually will only access the area around the wavy design walkway guide. All the platform using vinyl flooring design. Meeting Room, Director Office, Executive Office using carpet flooring design. Pantry using mosaic flooring. In the Working Area, using Terrazzo tiles with wavy shape design flooring. Terrazzo tiles with green leaf pattern on top which similar idea of Biophilic design. Overall of the design using green, gray, white and beige wood color. Also with material like concrete, cement and a lot of plants putted in the design.

FRONT ELEVATION

Perspective that showing front elevation of the main entrance with Adobe's logo and a glass door with designed "A" shape inspired door handle. "A" shape that taken from Adobe's logo. Two side of the wall with designed layered wavy concept wall pannels, it come with different tone of green color and white. Hidden light stript added in every pannel to reach the ambient.

RECEPTION

Perspective that showing Reception with an Adobe's logo. It's a wavy constructed wall with wavy decoration pannel. Reception desk also with a wavy pannel decoration on top of the wavy constructed table which the idea of layered wavy concept, each wavy pannel with different material stack together show the concept of layered wavy and light stript added to show out the layering. Main colour scheme in this area is white and beige wood texture. The flooring with lighter tone and wavy shape design to guide visitor of their walkway

COMMUNAL GARDEN

Perspective that showing Communal Garden. An area inspired by HQ of Adobe, can be guest lounge, worker relax or discussion area. An idea of "love of nature" that Biophilic style use to have plant, greeneries to improve air quality and ventilation. An area with raise up platform and with a few of bean bag. Bean bag giving more comfortable feels and workers can change their sitting position with another choices. Also come with 3 hanging swing which to make the office more freely and workspace balanced, worker will not feels like just working but enjoying too.

MEETING ROOM

Perspective that showing Meeting Room. The ceiling design is a idea of layered wavy which multiple different design wavy with different color and tone make a output of layering the wavy pannel. The wall design with both up and down wavy designed wall and in the middle is clear glass. Reason using clear glass is to allow natural lighting to access to the Meeting Room. The door designed with wavy door frame which idea derived from the concept.

DIRECTOR OFFICE

Perspective that showing Director Office. Using wavy designed drop ceiling with beige wood texture and also come with hidden light stript to add in ambient. The wall with both up and down wavy designed wall and the middle with clear glass. Director's working desk designed with wavy shape top and with matte white finishes. Using carpet flooring in this area is because that Director Office is a low traffic area which less people access and not easily get dirt. Carpet flooring is also to make the area feel softer instead of everything hard and solid.

VVIP AREA

Perspective that showing VVIP Area. It come with a wavy ceiling with each pannel different colour and tone. VVIP Area is basically whole thing wavy shape, wavy platform, wavy sitting, wavy table and wavy ceiling. VVIP Area ia an area for visitor and workers free to have talk, discussion or working there. Ceiling design with hanging plants which make the area refreshed, improve air quality.

WORKING AREA

Perspective that showing Working Area. The "A" shaped working desk design inspired by the concept sketch which the Adobe's logo, with the form of "A" shape and wavy design. It's total 8 sitting and the middle part is sitting design for workers having discussion or work more freely with different position. It come with wavy ceiling design with multiple different size and color, stack together performing a result of layering wavy with also hidden light stript added to show out the layering.

WORKING AREA 2

Perspective that showing Working Area 2. Working desk design inspired by Adobe's logo "A" shape. It's a soft edge zig-zag. It total come with 8 sitting and 4 sitting each side. In the middle, it's planting which an idea of "put natural into building" from Biophilic style. All the plants putted in in the interior with a purpose for healt and well-being occupants.

HOT DESK AREA

Perspective that showing Hot Desk Area. It come with wavy low height table with different level of height. In this angle showing that 2 layers of wavy constructed table. The pendant light been used in this area is a pendant design with greeneries decoration on top. A pendant performing hanging greens but also light fixture.

PANTRY

Perspective that showing Pantry. Dining table designed with rough concrete finishes, an idea of using natural material and calming colours which a requirements of Biophilic style. Wavy designed pendant light with greeneries deco on top been used in this area.

ISOMETRIC

All working area is nearby on the right top of the building which is East, Adobe wants to have sunrise on the working area to make healthier and positive energy. On South, it's the facilities like Communal Garden, Entertainment Area which don't have direct sunlight all the time. Then, the other area like Pantry, Dining, Hot Desk Area is nearby West and North. There's 12 area inside the office workplace. 4 side of the building with window which allow access to view of nature and natural lighting. Doing exposed ceiling design and some area with concepted ceiling design. Exposed ceiling design is to show the idea of Biophilic style: "keeps the nature in the space" and "keeps the nature of the space". The roughest, the more natural.
