My latest animation showreel for 2023, containing snippets of my best animation work. I am a 3D Animator with a focus on body mechanics and fight animation.

This was my Final Major Project for University. It was animated in Maya and rendered in Unreal Engine 5. I was heavily inspired by video game cinematic trailers and wanted to produce an animation that featured two characters of varying weights.

Rigs were courtesy of Truong CG Artist and Kiel Figgins. The environment was mostly modelled and textured by me, with some minor assets being from the Unreal marketplace. All animation was done by me.

I did a lot of pre-production work on this film, from research to storyboards to previz. Above is my early previz accompanied by my reference footage, most of which was shot personally. This project was all about following a professional workflow and documenting the process.

A quick environment breakdown, including an early proxy, wireframes and final render. I visited the York Minster and took many references photos that aided in the creation of the environment.

This Spiderman animation was created as part of a body mechanics module for my second year of University. I chose spiderman since he has a fun and distinct way of moving with many great poses. My animation lecturer was also the animation lead on the Amazing Spiderman movies, and so I was able to get tonnes of great advice on this project.

Rig courtesy of Kiel Figgins. Animated in Maya and Rendered in UE5.

Appendage Suspended was created as part of an animation challenge for the Cake Station YouTube channel. The brief was to create a short fight sequence between two characters where one could only kick, and one could only punch.

I took this a step further by literally restricting their limbs which made for a fun and dynamic sequence. I animated this in Blender under tight deadlines and rendered it in Eevee.
