With retailers losing over 25 million USD daily, to cover losses, and 40% of online shoppers hesitant to order online, the e-commerce industry is in need of an innovative revolution regarding package theft.

How might we forge the path of new-age package delivery, while providing Shopify a unique opportunity to revolutionize the industry and expand brand exposure. After identifying the initial pain point along

with the proof, we delved deep into the package delivery system as a whole. Upon discovery of the outdated norms of the current delivery system and the customer hesitation to order we found our main pain points. With the rise of porch piracy, the brands are passively incurring all the loss. Leaving the seller accountable for all the loss This promotes an environment of loss and hesitation from both the retailers and the customers. This got us thinking about how might we rethink the delivery system to build communication and dictate reliability between the retailers and consumers, to create a unique advantage for Shopify.

Taking all this into consideration we created our solution; Fortify. Beginning with reimagining checkout to dictate reliability, followed by an expansion of the Shop app to help consumers secure their packages with location-strategic portable drive-through trucks, consumers will have a convenient, secure package pickup experience, all while bringing awareness to local Shopify-powered businesses through pop-up exclusive collaborations.
