Castle's Serene Retreat

Castle's Serene Retreat is my first personal project in my journey as a game developer. This captivating game invites players to transcend reality and find themselves transported to a realm of tranquillity within the walls of a serene and warm castle. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere, where intricately designed environments unfold before your eyes, inviting exploration and discovery.

All of the assets are crafted with Blender's modelling and Substance Painter's texturing. By using Unity's first-person controller, players can explore the enchanting environment and experience the captivating ambience firsthand.

During its creation, I embarked on a journey of experimentation, exploring various moods and atmospheres to capture the essence of serenity within the castle. The desire to evoke a sense of warmth and allure led me to focus on crafting a library ambiance, where the fragrance of old parchment and leather blends harmoniously with the comforting scent of burning wood. This deliberate choice imbued the environment with a captivating and inviting aura, enveloping players in a radiant and cozy atmosphere.
