Dynamic Motion

As an undergraduate student at The One Academy, this co-working space project for DOJO is one of the latest projects I have been working on. This project is located at APW Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This Co-working space aims to foster a serene work environment through its design. Light neutral tones, soft rounded edges, and textured materials come together to create a calming ambiance. The addition of plants further enhances the space, bringing a touch of nature and freshness to those working within.

Inspired by the company name DOJO and delved into the world of martial arts and stumbled upon judo. This unique martial art employs throwing techniques that generate dynamic motion.

Taking the concept of judo's swigging technique and applying it to a form that has a dynamic motion into a form of a curve structure to design the space which creates a form and function effect complimented by a continuous form, also using interlocking structure to create a unique form which the interlocking represent two person locking each other when throwing.
