E X E C U T E

' E x e c u t E ' is a personal IP I did for my graduation project. I was always inspired by the story of one French executioner from the French Revolution, Charles-Henri Sanson. I wanted to incorporate the tragedy and the melancholy of his life story into my own fantasy, and that was what inspired the theme of this IP.

CHROMA

' CHROMA ' is a group concept art project that I had during my final year. CROMA is a story centered around the concept of 'colors of the eyes' changing depending on one's emotions, and the attempts of one young man to discard this trait of his that he thinks makes him vulnerable.

I was in charge of designing the main antagonist and his props.

Sonata is a world-renowned surgeon from the upper class. He has an obsession with colored eyes, as he, himself was born with none, and thus without emotions. Sonata easily hides his psychopathy under a facade of a calm, professional eye surgeon, where he could easily sweep his misdeeds under the rug. Though, if you were to have the chance to meet him in person, perhaps you might see glimpses of his truest side peaking through those cold, cold, unsmiling eyes of his.

A poster design for our project, CHROMA. My design was mainly centered around the antagonist, Sonata. I wanted to portray his dual sides, a facade of a professional, well-respected surgeon, and a sick, unstable, sadistic psychopath.
