RAVENGUARD

Welcome to Ravenguard: a little sky high mountain town named after a (not so little) city in my D&D campaign. This piece was my mentorship project done at Think Tank Training Centre with my mentor Jude Godin. 

This scene was born from a different concepts mashed together to create this storybook theme. It was suggested to combine what I liked from these concepts since I couldn't land on one single piece to work off of. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of being able to pick and choose what elements worked best for my scene. 

Working on this project with my mentor, I got the chance to really dive into creating game ready modular pieces, while sticking to a very specific theme when it came to texturing. I got the chance to experiment with my work flow, finding the right combination of software and techniques that would bring out the storybook feel, while adhering to the strengths I had in visual arts previously. I also switched over to UE5 for this project and had a lot of fun playing around with the engine. I'm excited to see what else I can do with it in future projects!

I had so much fun building this little storybook world but I'm excited to tackle on something new. Currently, I'm working on a small personal project, so stay tuned!
