Year One: A Journey
Welcome to my journey of discovering my passion for digital art! With a background in traditional oil painting and geography, last year I started at ground zero in the world of concept art and I am so proud of my progress. I am excited to share with you a collection of my best work over the course of the year.
My goal in all my art is to connect and share my experience with passionate people like you. I hope you enjoy these projects that have challenged me, pushed me, and motivated me down the road to becoming a concept artist.
Environment Concepts
Flooded and Nearly Forgotten
This 3D model paint-over project (3D model provided through my school ), is my first attempt using photo-bashing in my work flow. I wanted to push myself, and the 3D model to the limit, and turn it into something unexpected.
In a post-apocalyptic world where sea level has risen, most cities have been destroyed by massive sink holes and flooding, and the infrastructure of society we perceive as so permanent, returns to her roots.
The Alchemist Dwelling
An alchemist game level set design concept. This project was the turning point for me in sparking a passion for fantasy environment design.
Water Bending Training Room
Set in the Avatar universe, this bit of fan art is a concept design for a water bending training room. Set in the cold tundra region of the water tribe.
Character and Prop Concepts
A collection of my original characters, creatures and props.
