Maya Model Breakdown (Highpoly and Lowpoly)
The UV islands above identify how the mesh was split into three groups for the texturing process.
1. The pistols' Grip, Slide and Magazine base were baked and textured in Substance Painter.
2. Suppressor, Tactical Light optic utilised no baked textures or normals. Only Materials in UE5.
3. Magazine, Compensator and Bolts used a combination of materials with baked Normals.
The groups also effected the density of the polygons used for each section of the lowpoly.
