Space Angel Hime

I'll admit this was a selfish project.

It was one part wanting to use Marvelous Designer to fuse my college degree with my relatively new love of 3D art.

The second part was exploring my nostalgia for the Lisa Frank aliens of the 90s and the Gothic Lolita Bibles of the early 2000s. I wanted to see how my love for those things might translate into my current tastes. 

It was my first time using MD and I hadn't even bothered with tutorials. It was a very painstaking process but I would love to do another project in the software.. Maybe with a better pc this time! 

I used free materials from around the web and modified them with the matcap overlay from Gloria the Animator. The downside of this is that they wouldn't render properly in cycles, but I think I got the futuristic vibes I was going for.
