Round of applause for our sponsors

I am really proud to be able to share my final year project done at New3dge as an aspiring environment artist. We had to remake an old game and we have chosen "Metal Gear Solid 2"
It was really challenging since the game is really greyish and every colors are mainly from the Post-Process, so we had to make some changes to keep the original vibe as much as making it looking great and realistic.

I was in the Environment Team and was in charge of making the "Hold 3" level. The "Metal Gear Ray" was from Arthur Franchitto and the "Deck A" level from Léni Martin.

Team :

I would like to thanks the administration of New3dge, our supervisor Mickael Floury and our mentors especially Mohamed Elbouhy, Tim Colin and Yannick Gombart for their huge help !

DB-Igla 4 | Modeling/Texturing

The first work I had to do for my first year in Game Art. The DB-4 Igla from Cyberpunk 2077, originally done by Csaba Szilagyi
Game ready asset, 2k textures, 3086 tris.
This one was really fun to do !

Viking Arena | Lighting/Trimsheet

A trimsheet exercise we had to do to be more acquainted with the texel density, the environment workflow and the lighting.
I had a lot of fun in making the lighting.

Scifi Railway Facility | Relight

Relight from the Dekogon scene in 3 different lighting : Daytime, Nighttime and from reference.
The scene is from Dekogon.
