Characters in lived-in spaces. A window into a scene so mundane, yet charming.

The idea behind this piece was the phrase "Rooted in Place." To depict a space that felt real, lived in, with characters who belong there. The little knick-knacks and clutter make the space feel like a home.
This piece challenged me with perspective and defining a space. There were a lot of challenges with figuring out lighting and shading even the most trivial of details like the wires or batteries on the floor.
Another piece that plays off the same idea. The prior piece walked so I could sprint with this one. There's something so fun about designing a character's room and all the little things you'd think they'd have in it.
