3D Modeling & Texturing Portfolio by Ramanus Netje
Hi everyone! My entry includes two artworks: one 3D character and one 3D asset.
3D Character Cyberpunk
I used Maya, Zbrush, & Substance Painter for the creation process and rendered it using Marmoset Toolbag.
I was responsible for creating both the 3D character and the gun asset, while the background was built using kibash3D.
Reference.
Before creating this character, I researched references to ensure I knew what I wanted to create. I then divided the project into smaller pieces, and once each asset was completed, I combined everything into one project

UV & Texture (2K Resolution)
Arm & Head UV
I created a simple rig using Maya's autorig feature in Maya
I created the character, clothes, and arm in ZBrush, and then did the retopology in Maya
Pistol 3D with wireframe. Created in Maya
Acoustic Guitar 3D Asset
I created a guitar asset to practice my 3D asset creation skills using Maya and Substance Painter. The guitar was rendered using Arnold render, and I sourced the flower image from Freepik.
guitar 3d with wireframe
Guitar turntable in Maya, rendered using Arnold Render. The turntable was made using the Lookdev kit by Dusan Kovic
I gathered references for the guitar from the internet, with the main reference located on the right side
Other information
I used 3 UDIMs for the guitar body to try and learn the UDIM workflow, while the rest of the guitar used just 1 UV tile. Each UV and texture utilized a 4K resolution
Scene organization & set the guitar scale to centimeters
Shader naming organization
