HOPE
This is my first portfolio that I studied and created in 3D. I was inspired by a photo of the abandoned I.M. Cooling Tower in Belgium and made this project.
This artwork tells a story of the birth of new life in an abandoned space where nobody comes, as time passes and new life grows, seasons change from cold winter to warm spring.
I used SpeedTree to create the desired tree shape and express the movement of the petals, and then imported the cache into the space created in Maya.
To convey the warmth and splendor of spring, I did color correction in Nuke on the base footage to create a soft and gentle atmosphere.
