The GOOD The BAD + The ILL - Senior Thesis Animated Short Film for "Film of the Year" - 2023

I am a CG generalist specializing in Animation, 3D character art, and Hard-Surface Art. My inspirations are drawn from Comic Books, Movies, and Video Games with my favorite genres being Science Fiction and Fantasy. My greatest thrills in creating are breathing life into characters through acting in animation and visually telling a story with inanimate objects through details in texture.

I earned my BFA from Ringling College of Art + Design in the Department of Computer Animation on May 4, 2023. My greatest passions are learning and creating and I'm well-versed in programs such as Maya, Substance Painter, Nuke, Photoshop, and Premiere. I love what I do and I am so excited to be a part of this inspiring industry.

I created this film completely on my own as part of the Computer Animation curriculum at Ringling College of Art + Design. I am responsible for all aspects on-screen, creating everything including 3D models, textures, shaders, rigs, title animations, character animation, editing, compositing, FX, and sound design.

SYNOPSIS: The GOOD The BAD + The ILL is a story about sacrifice for family. Josey McCoy, a cyborg cowboy, boards a medical supply train to steal a respiratory treatment where he gets into a heated gun battle with robot guards. Against all odds, many enemies, and treating his wounds throughout the fight, the cowboy succeeds in his mission and retrieves the treatment. When the cowboy returns home, it is revealed that everything he risked was in order to save his deathly ill daughter.
