Discovering The War Unseen

The animation below is the overall turn-around view of the environment, at 00:00-00:45. At 00:45-02:15 is the close up walkthrough of the environment as well. The VR walk-through and interaction is also provided in this entry. 

The concept of my work, Discovering The War Unseen, is about how the individual can experience unearthing the aftermath of a story from the Christian Bible in a conceptual and creative way. The story is know as the War between Heaven and Hell, it is about a battle between Satan and Fallen Angels, against the angels from Heaven. This Virtual Reality experience will allow the viewer to discover the aftermath of this story. The story is mentioned in Revelation 12: 7-12 from the Christian Bible, and is also inspired by the Book of Enoch. The dragon and serpent skulls is inspired from the book of Revelation and Genesis. The weapons throughout the environment is from the angels that fought in the war. There is also boards that has sketches and information about the story. Throughout the environment there is equipment and other evidence that archeologists are discovering this scene. My goal is that this will create a virtual reality experience for the viewer to find archeological evidence of this story.

Here is the directions for the VR controllers and to interact in the VR environment: You can pick up the water bottle, shovel, and notebook by using your left controller and pressing the joystick and back button to grab it. To turn, more your left controller joystick to the left and right.

To walk forward, move forward the right controller joystick. To teleport to the stands, hover your right controller over the stand and press the back button of the controller.

the video and image below, is me displaying this piece for a school project in one of the classrooms of the school, the people viewing this piece is mostly friends and family members. In the video, it shows how someone interacts viewing the piece. I also set up the display and it even has signs for how to use the VR equipment for the viewer to read.
