Finding Autumn

As part of my 3rd year in University we were tasked with creating a film centred around educating "Young Audiences". My idea for this production was to introduce young children to what to expect in Autumn in an outside woodland environment and encourage them to explore and have fun in their outdoor surroundings. I sought to develop characters, so they were not stereotypically human, avoiding any gender or ethnic bias. I did this by creating characters with non-human attributes and avoided using gendered clothing or colours. I also wanted to establish a positive relationship between the characters which I achieved by having both parent and child have multiple interactions with each other some being humorous and some more natural moments.
