A twisted fable told in crafted world
Sewnshot the hand-sewn fable!
The entire game was created over the span of 2 semesters including everything from concept art, blueprint, and procedural PBR texturing.
Sewnshot is a game that follows a short fable that a mother is telling her son. The fable tells the story of a mean old man that drives away all the animals on the mountain.
The world is created to mimic a stop-motion crafted world with yarn grass, a knitted-together cabin, patchwork dirt, and as many small crafted details as I can possibly fit into the game.
The Interior of the cabin is used as a playable intro and features a paper cut-out aesthetic, it begins the game and shows the mother starting the story.
This is the main Vis Dev I created and used to pitch the game. Each piece was fully rendered and painted over the course of about 8-9 hours taking a phase or two past its pure Concept Art stage.
