Werewolf
I've always enjoyed drawing Werewolves so I decided to use it as my first concept piece for my creatures project.
Concept artist unknown.

Process
I made this harder than it should have by starting this sculpt
asymmetrically. I sculpted everything in zbrush starting with primary forms, secondary then small details. Polypaint in Zbrush and pose. Make some quick render passes then composite those passes in photoshop for the final concept.

Bat Creature
This concept was inspired by the wolf concept. I felt like I had to make some kind of Vampire creature to go with the wolf so I made this Bat Creature.

Process
Same process as the werewolf. Start with a sphere for the chest, push pull geo around to get the basic shape of the torso, add in cylinders for the arms and legs, refine as we progress, polypaint, make some quick renders then composite in photoshop for the final concept

Troll
After the Bat and Werewolf, I wanted another concept to balance things out a bit. deviating from the creatures to create a monster Troll. Concept by Myoung Hwan Kim

Process
Started with a sphere for the chest pushing and pulling geo to get the basic forms of the torso. Inserting cylinders for the arms and legs and repeating the push pull method to get the basic shape of the whole body. Adding in the fingers, toes and skirt as we progress, refining everything until I like the result then polypaint, pose, make quick render passes, then composite in photoshop for the final concept

Mermaid
This concept was inspired by the Merpeople in Harry Potter and the reference image by Arnaud Roy. I watched the film and thought it'd be dope to sculpt a mermaid or something along those lines.

Process
Same as the others. Start with a sphere for the chest, push pull for the basic shape of the torso. Add cylinders for the arms pushing and pulling to get the basic shape of the arms. Add a sphere for the tail, pulling and stretching it out. Refine, adding extra details as we progress. Polypaint when finished refining, pose, quick render, composite in Photoshop for final result.
