3D Character Model - Rgyal Rong Lady

My name is Jessie Hao Jingshuang, I am a 3D character artist looking to step into the industry. Rgyal Rong Lady is the first character I created. It's also my graduation art work in my demo wheel. I wanted to create an old lady in a traditional dress. She was a beautiful lady when she was young. Life gives her wrinkles and time takes away her youth. But she is still peaceful and calm. She just sits there, spinning the prayer wheel, chanting while gazing at the distance, full of blessing.

Character based on my concept from real life references, I enjoyed doing the sculpting, texturing, Mari painting and xgen grooming part, and I also enjoy using photoshop to add the details on the texture. I'd really like to thank my lecturer Mr. Derrick Song for all the feedback and support throughout the entire project development. I've learned so much from him and I'll definitely use the skills on my other projects in future.
