Creation, modeling and rendering of a concept of a chimera. Following the conception of this concept I created a monster clay carpet and then moved on to the creation of the model by sculpting it in 3D. i imported the model into maya to create do the lighting and render.

Creating, modeling and rendering a chimera concept.
Following the creation of this concept, I created a clay monster carpet and then moved on to the creation of the model by sculpting it in 3D.
Its inhabitant is Australia and its purpose is to put out fires given its hybrid form between a kangaroo and a fish.
The name of this chimera is Vanstral, from the Danish "vandstråle", which means jet of water.
