Rig_B Texturing contest
This is my version of RigB for the Texturing contest.

This is my first time taking part to a Rookie contest, still trying to get used to the approach.
I'm participating at the Texturing challenge and for this contest my idea is to create an old machinery look for the robot.
This are the reference that i have put together, starting from some famous examples of robot, to some color palette and some reference for the materials such as old metal, rust and ecc..
After collecting the references i have adjust few UVs inside maya and imported the model in Substance Painter and started baking all the maps.
It took really long to bake the maps but it was worth it. Than i've started to texture the robot by creating the base metallic material, after that i have added some paint levels and lately i have added some imperfections and details.
I've made some quick renders inside Substance and this is the result so far.
