Hello! This is my animation final entry.

Well, this is unfortunate. After setting up some lights and improving the scene, I did a test render but my laptop fried. I always do backups of my projects but, of course, this time I didn't.

I was able to recover the file a few hours ago; there's still plenty of work to be done but I've slightly improved the animation and added detail to the legs, arms and general movements; added some keyframes to the override controls on the shoulders to prevent them from flipping and scaled some keyframes for more sharp movements during the poses.

Huge thanks to my dear friend Michele Frattini (MicheleFrattini) who rendered the scene for me at the last minute.

Playblast final blockout.

Added some lights and basic terrain.

Hello! Here's my entry in the animation category.

As a martial arts fan, I'm going to do a funny little sketch where the robot trains with the bo staff (stick) and does some moves.

After studying the rig and finding some references, I decided to base the animation on some Po's moves (Kung Fu panda) and a bo staff technique ("Pinky finger leads the way") from youtuber Jake Mace.

Made first blocking clip. Now time for some smoothing and polishing.
