Realistic G.I.R.
I wanted to make a realistic take on G.I.R. and reimagine some materials and parts. I wanted to mix organic and hard surface modeling, to make a little change in the general aspect of what a robot should look like.

I started the texturing work with the head, i wanted it to look like a mix of shiny and wear metal
I also had to go back and forth with the models, because i found little uv mapping issues. I used some procedural shading to make the eyes look like a mix of whiskey glass and headlight. This was a render test

I had to export it to Substance, so I had to UV unwrap and adjust everything and make a clean topology, also I made high and low-resolution versions of the costume and head.
in the meantime, I added some fur to make the costume more realistic

I wanted to do my own realistic version of G.I.R., so i went online a gather some references and made a sketch
Then i proceed to make a quick 3d sketch to see if it works
somewhat happy with the result, i remade the entire model.
Then, i made some placeholder materials, to visualize the progress and the main idea
