Elder Dragon

Conceptual model of an early dragon in the evolutionary process of an organism.

Primitive body structure, before becoming functionally sophisticated. It has the strength of a living organism, despite its many superfluous features.

The anatomy of the shoulder area has been designed to explore a new solution for a form of dragon that has both wings and arms.

The range of motion of the wing joints is similar to that of the hand, and the wing membrane is thicker and remains skin-like. Wings are not specialized for wing-only function and still have strong hand remnants.

For a winged creature, the limbs are unnecessarily long and heavy. Its ability to grasp objects is high, and its attacks using its arms are powerful.

The details were sculpted while considering the balance of coarseness and density.

The original elements were added to the orthodox silhouette to design an old yet new dragon concept.
