Harry Havens summer showreel 2019

My 2019 showreel featuring my best pieces of work from my second year studying VFX.

Space ship shot

This is one of two group project shots that I got to work on as an end of year project at university. In total there were 6 artists working between both shots, for this shot I got to work on the sky replacement, cleanup, roto, grading and CGI Integration.

The story behind the shot is there’s a storm coming in and the lady is the last person trying to be evacuated however she is too late and misses the ship, as the storm starts to come in.

This shot is inspired by the TV series Peaky Blinders, and is set in the time period 1919.

I worked on the entire pipeline including matchmove, modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and comp.
