Intruders Concept Art

Hello everyone My name is Lai Huang Wai and I would love to showcase some of the work I have done while I was studying at The One Academy. This is one of the major group projects we have to do for our graduation campaign. Granted I will only showcase my own work. Hope everyone will love it and have a pleasant experience.

Intruders~~~~ dun dun dun. I have to admit it sounded way cooler when we came up with that name, now it sounds like a straight to DVD horror B movie. Anyway, allow me to give you a quick summary of the story. A group of scientists are on a mission to mine and collect precious minerals from a distant planet. Based on their initial scans, the planet is completely void of life, however little did they know they coudn't be more wrong. When the group of scientists are done with their work and decided to leave. A tiny alien parasite sneaked onboard without being noticed. I know ugh... cliche, I can see how the story will play out from a mile away. But hey it makes for a good basis for a group of amateur art students to build their story on, don't judge, owh wait or do judge. this is a contest afterall. The alien parasite slowly inflitrated the group and started to kill them off one by one. Now the remaining crew members have to figure out how to survive long enough to get back to earth.

Here is the character I designed, Her name is Lara, and Lara is the Captain of the Argo Interplanetary research team. she is responsible for commanding the spaceship. She Used to be an ex-military fighter pilot, that's why she owns a service rifle.

This is the alien parasite that sneaked into the spaceship. It managed to cause certain damage to the ship to have one of the crew members go check it out. it ambushed and mutated the crew member.

This is the service rifle Lara carries around. Despite not being in the military anymore, she finds comfort in carrying it with her every time whenever she has an interplanetary research operation.

This is the rover that the Argo research crew used to assist them in their research. they sometimes also used it to go into places that are normally hard for the crew members to went into.

This is the spaceship's corridor, on the side of each wall that houses the living quarters for the crew members, with 2 on each side. one providing a vending machine and the other one an advance rumba cleaning machine. At the centre of the corridor is a t junction which leads to 2 elevators on the side and a direct straightforward path towards the research lab.
