Alberto Flores - Rhye's Saga

This is a personal project which has been in the making since 2020. It is a D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) campaign in which my role is that of DM (Dungeon Master), alongside three further female players.

The world of Rhye is divided into two large continents: Nadira and Ezias. Nadira is a predominantly desertic and dry continent, albeit with a thousand-year heritage and full of secrets. On the other hand, Ezias, the cradle of Western culture, is green and fertile, and possesses great military and political might. The imperialistic ambitions of the Kingdom of Egrea lead them to conquer territories in Nadira, and consequently to the arising of animosities between The Ring (formed by the Hissian Empire, Labolvia, Padistaria and Adraso) and The Union (formed by Egrea, Galatia, Britia, Vasidona, Tiboria and Chya). More than 200 years later, there has not been the slightest hint of signing a peace treaty. A bloodless war is being held while the rest of nations remain neutral. The most serious threat haphazardly suffered is the fury of the elements. The Gods are enraged and there is nothing able to appease them in light of these conflicts…unless a group of courageous people defy nations, the elements and fate itself.

Our starring group is formed by Lyatrix, a creature of the forest, a nymph closely bonded to trees. She is able to do magic based on nature, besides from being rather competent in martial arts and with the bow and arrows. Apparently carefree and sarcastic, she is on a crucial mission which has led her to travel the world despite not quite understanding life beyond the forest.

Seraphim, an orphan since a toddler, leads an empty life besides her lyre, yet always displaying a cheerful and unconcerned attitude. This eccentric tiefling’s main occupation is to wander the world sharing her chants about prophecies received directly from the Gods, according to herself. Her sole purpose in life is to warn people about a near end of the world.

Ahmitia is one of the youngest members of a small Tabaxi community, unique in their kind and with supernatural powers. Able to read messages from the stars and the night sky, these highly experienced oracles can interpret events which are yet to occur. However, due to the responsibility this entails, they have kept themselves isolated from the world to protect their species and their legacy. Upon receiving a prophecy about a danger concerning themselves and their homeland, the Tabaxi are forced to escape and find a safer place to stay at. Nonetheless, the hazards of the desert split them apart on their way. Mimi, now on her own and with her fearful nature, her small size and her powers still on development will have to flee a dangerous and totally unknown world, hoping to reunite with her people one day.
