The Apothecary

In the early 20th century, Mr Barthélémy Delort lives in a world where magic took over technology and science. This magic comes from a peculiar kind of amber, formed with the sap of a tree growing near the ocean the Amber tree. Mr Delort is the most well-known Apothecary of a small coastal town of France called Calvièze. He's in his forties, a mysterious and solitary man, who enjoys his own world filled with flasks and plants. 

You can see a few mice running through the interior of the workshop. Because mouse droppings can serve as a good old fashioned cure.

Barthélémy hide his secret garden for everyone else. It had its own amber tree to give magic to its medicines.
