I'm currently in my 1st year of Game Art and Animation at AIE. Even though I'm not super confident in my current work, I have learned a lot in the past few months. I'm having a lot of fun exploring the medium and developing my skills.

Environment Diorama

Based on concept art 'The Cursed Bard- environment' by Bryan van der Linden.

I modeled this environment in Maya through simple box modeling and painted the textures in Substance 3D Painter and Photoshop. The end result is an unlit render in Marmoset Toolbag with an immisive map for the windows and flames.

Demon Character

Based on concept art 'A Whole Lot of Demon Librarians + Props' by Moniek Schilder.

I sculpted this character for practice in Zbrush, I did the retopology and UVs in Maya, then textured it in Substance 3D Painter.

Wooden Shield

Based on concept art 'Wooden Shield Tutorial' by Sergey Samarskiy.

I made a base mesh for this shield in Maya, then sculpted the details in Zbrush, retopologized it in Maya and painted the textures in Substance 3D Painter and Photoshop.

Kobold Clubhouse

This is my second assessment for the Game Art an Animation course I'm currently studying that I started in February. The concept is a ramshackle kobold clubhouse built from structures you would find in a small medieval farming town.

I started by drawing some thumbnails. I then made a blockout in Maya with lighting which I painted over to create the concept art. I made the model in Maya and Zbrush, and the textures in Substance 3D Painter and Photoshop.

Sword and Shield

This is my first assessment for the Game Art an Animation course. I drew thumbnails and rough concept art in Photoshop, then modeled the shield and sword in Maya. I then textured them in Substance 3D Painter.
