The First Love, is a 2D animation short that celebrates the beginning of a young child’s journey as an individual artist. The film narrates through the child who immerses herself into drawing in the shadows cast by furniture, which eventually creates a pathway to building connection with her mom. This film explores not only the relationship between the daughter and the mom but moreover, the child’s perception of each moment transcribed into drawings that builds upon her cognitive and developmental growth.
