Dynamic Effects and Lighting Submission

This is an effects project I worked on during my time at Rising Sun Pictures studying the vfx specialization through the University of South Australia. I created a smoke grenade along with the smoke simulation and particle moats in Houdini. Lighting and compositing was then done on top of the effects to integrate the grenade, smoke, and particles better within the setting, aiming to make the shot as realistic as possible.

This is a lighting project I worked on during my time at Rising Sun Pictures studying the vfx specialization through the University of South Australia. I have matched the lighting of different elements to match the backplate through Houdini and made small changes in nuke to darken, lighten, and grade particular areas of the cg assets.
