The Rookies contest 2021 entry

Ellie - The Last of Us Part II, Fan Art

A bust of the lovely and cool character, Ellie, from the video-game series, The Last of Us

It was a lot of fun to recreate this iconic character and trying to translate such recognizable facial features into my own artstyle and interpretation of the character

Harry Du Bois

The amazing and beloved Harrier Du Bois from the video-game, Disco Elysium, translated into a fully realistic 3D model. He has such a grand personality and a great appearance, which was so much fun to recreate

Lara Croft

One of the most iconic and recognizable female characters in video-game history, Lara Croft.

It was such a cool experience getting to recreate my childhood hero into a 3D bust of my in my own style. It was a great challenge for me texture and hair wise, and i hope i did her justice!
Her features are based of both the older and newer Tomb Raider games

Elizabeth, Bioshock Infinite

Bioshock is my favorite video-game of all time, and i absolutely adore the third entry to the amazing video-games series as well, Bioshock Infinite
With this character i tried getting a bit out of my comfort zone with more stylized features as well as a hard surface prop of the Skyhook!

It was a fun learning experience, from which i can carry out the knowledge to my future projects

The general workflow i utilize for all of my characters is:

Sculpting: ZBrush

Skin Detail: TexturingXYZ maps projected in Mari

Cloth: Marvelous Designer

Topology and UVs: Maya

Textures: Substance Painter

Hair: HairTG for Substance Designer and placement with GS Curvetool for Maya

Rigging/blendshapes: Maya

Lighting and presentation: Marmoset Toolbag 3
