Guardians - Julien Theo Simon

The witches hut, home to the mythical witch of the woods. Hidden deep in the mystical woods of hills, trees and grass. Legend says that she's always willing to trade a magical favor in exchange for an item of sentimental value on your person. Over time she found she could never throw away the pieces given to her by various adventures. So she lives on, as her hut begins to clutter.

Each person in the world is born with an elemental affinity. At first able to slightly control their element, however over time it can merge with their body. With further control it can manifest in a guardian that protects the user!

I wanted to make my personal project IP a world that I could go crazy with color and paint whatever I wanted, whether that be a carribean style fisherman boy, or a northern medieval style character design coming from nobility. I wanted the freedom to have fun and do it all. 

The themes of colors, elements and adventure are a major part of this IP, so it was challenge to make sure each design, whether it be characters, props or environments felt explosively colorful without it be visually overwhelming and straining to the eye.  

The idea is this IP is that it could be an animation or a multiplayer MMO RPG game. I wanted to make some elemental spear designs as if these are purchasable skins within a game.
