Chris studied Product Design in the 1990s than Computer Graphics at Masters level before a short stint in the games industry with North East studio Reflections. That was followed by 25 years in academia where he led two of the most successful animation and visual effects schools in the UK at Teesside and Bournemouth, during which time he launched and ran the Animex festival for 13 years.

In 2022, Chris took the leap back into the world of production and joined Framestore in London as Global Head of Content and Curriculum, as part of the studio’s commitment to building the best training in the industry. Since joining the company, Chris has developed and launched a number of new initiatives working with his colleagues in the Talent Development Team and across the company.
