The first time that I realize Game Art is something that I want to work in is when I found that there's a Game Art Major in Ringling College of Art and Design; before that, I didn't know that Game Art/Design is part of an "art". I loved landscape painting since I started learning about art. However, when I first saw the 3D environments in those AAA games, I knew that it is the "perfect version" of landscape painting, not just visually but provides almost complete experience in the environment.
