I wanted to be a part of the industry when I started watching The Boondocks because it represented most races well. The characters were mostly controversial but they felt real and I enjoyed watching it from start to end. It made me want to create a show like it but for South Africa, where I grew up and feel people could relate more if I took part in or created a show with real and local characters.
