Truthfully, I just want to animate. If somebody paid me to animate grass, and that was the whole job, it'd be the best grass you ever saw.

I have been interested in creative endeavours since I was a kid. Specifically, I always loved Saturday morning cartoons in the 90s. I just always thought you needed a real job, which led me down a lucrative but not terribly rewarding career path in CAD drafting and eventually as a drafting manager. I decided around Halloween 2022 that it was time for a significant career shift and I've been absolutely loving my days as an animator since.
