My goal is to get started as a junior concept artist or background painter/designer for a film or game studio and work my way up to a lead.

I had never even heard of digital painting until I started my first year at Ringling College. During a writing class at Ringling I was researching how they created the Star Wars and Avatar films and I discovered the world of concept art. I was amazed at the designs behind those films and from then on I realized that this was what I wanted to do. I specifically love designing environments, vehicles, props, and architecture.
