Back in highschool, more than 10 years ago. I was playing my favourite games and became interested in making visual works like fanart, but eventually also original own work. Afterwards I realized that creating game visuals was an actual job which kickstarted the idea for me to enrole into a college! I've been a game art student for already 9 years. From college to university.
