Want a dyslexic to become good at math? Make her roll for damage a lot. No exaggeration - art inspired me to overcome dyslexia. I dreaded anything to do with reading. That was until I built my first Magic deck , and after that was Dungeons & Dragons. Art, through the joy of good stories, fun games and fascinating worlds, motivated my transformation from a struggling dyslexic into a straight-A high schooler. It’s been a long journey, but I wish to come full circle. I hope to inspire others.
