I want to have fun as a concept artist! My goal is to become a memorable visual storyteller. I'll make sure of that.

I stumbled upon this interview between two concept artists: Jonathan Guzi and Emmanuel Shiu. It was the first time I had ever heard of 'concept art'. For the whole duration of interview, I listened attentively. I remember Jonathan talking about how he 'locked himself up' for some time (one or two years) to grind and create a portfolio. This didn't scare me away, but made me more excited! When I sat in class for the major that I was doing, I couldn't think of anything else. That's when I knew.
