I had a previous career working within marketing in the gaming industry. I had skills in writing for advertising & thorough knowledge of the industry alongside creative writing as a hobby. I realized that to fully go after my highest aspirations I would have to make the risky decision of leaving behind that career and getting another education in game design. I have since surprised myself with how many skills I've been able to unearth, the more I work in games the clearer it is where I belong.
